{Milliones Award} Why Choose a Magnet Program?
“When looking for a school for my children, I wanted a school that would welcome my special needs child as well as my “typical” child. I found that at Pittsburgh Carmalt, both of , my children have benefitted from technology courses and can use the computer with ease. They have joined other kids across the country for various activities through distance learning and have thrived under the guidance of their dedicated teachers.”
--T. Rogers, Carmalt K-8 Parent.
"I have really enjoyed the pre-engineering program, and it has helped me decide on what I want to major in at college. What this program has taught me is how to be mature, be a leader, and also how to work with others. If I wasn’t in the pre-engineering program then I wouldn’t be doing as well in school as I am now." --Jonathan, Allderdice Pre-Engineering student. “The field trip to Cheyney State really showed me why college is so important. You have to go to college if you want a good future. There are a lot of opportunities, and it’s not even that hard to apply. You just have to pay attention and have good grades. University Prep is helping me to get prepared.” --Alicia, Milliones University Prep 6-12 student |
