School Information


Pittsburgh Arsenal PreK-5 is a neighborhood school located in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville community.

Pittsburgh Arsenal provides a strong academic environment that focuses on developing the whole child.The instructional program is designed around the District's comprehensive curriculum, emphasizing the Pennsylvania learning standards in reading, math, science, social studies, art, music and physical education.

Instructional Focus

For the past three years, Pittsburgh Arsenal PreK-5 has been implementing an instructional focus on comprehension and three best practices: Graphic Organizers, Accountable Talk, and Written Response.

At the beginning of the school year, enrollment data may be less accurate until the official state recognized membership date (20 days after the start of school).
