School Information


Pittsburgh Conroy is a special education facility located in Pittsburgh's Manchester community.
Pittsburgh Conroy offers a positive learning environment which provides all participants a variety of opportunities to maximize their academic, emotional and social success. Each student has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) which drives the curriculum decisions for the students.

At the beginning of the school year, enrollment data may be less accurate until the official state recognized membership date (20 days after the start of school).

  • Serves students who need specially designed instruction in a Life Skills Support, Multiple Disabilities Support or Autistic Support program.
  • Support services including physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech/language therapist, vision, hearing, rehabilitation counselor, nursing services, adapted physical education, behavior consultants, social services, door-to-door transportation for students.
  • Variety of extracurricular activities and clubs, including intramural sports for boys and girls; Regional Special Olympics; Boy and Girl Scouts; Downtowners Club, Activities of Art Club, Job Club; Conroy Chorus, Rappers, Rockers (dance group); and others.
