Pittsburgh Faison PreK-8 is a neighborhood arts academy located in Pittsburgh's Homewood community. The school shares two campuses. The Primary campus serves students in Grades PreK-4 and students in Grades 5-8 attend the Intermediate Campus.
Pittsburgh Faison is committed to providing opportunities for children through performances, Arts experiences and the study of the Arts as disciplines.The instructional program is designed around the District's comprehensive curriculum, emphasizing the Pennsylvania learning standards in reading, math, science, social studies, art, music and physical education.
The learning environment will enable all students to study the arts for their intrinsic, aesthetic, historical, and cultural value. It is an environment that allows students to become adults with a lifelong involvement in and appreciation of the arts.
