School Information


Pittsburgh Langley High School is a neighborhood high school located in Pittsburgh's Sheraden community. Langley is home to the Teaching Academy magnet program. The Teaching Academy is available to all students, by application. Applications must be submitted during the General Registration period.

Pittsburgh Langley provides a standards-based, student-centered academic education, designed to prepare students to either continue their education, or to enter today’s ever-changing global work force. The instructional program is designed around the District's comprehensive curriculum. In addition to the Teaching Academy, three academies are available to Pittsburgh Langley students: Horticulture/ Landscaping, Health, and Advance Manufacturing Robotics.

At the beginning of the school year, enrollment data may be less accurate until the official state recognized membership date (20 days after the start of school).
