ELECT Teen Parenting Program

Being a parent is a tough job at times.  Being a teen parent is even more challenging.  That's why ELECT Teen Parenting Program is offering support to young moms and dads attending Pittsburgh Public Schools.  The program provides a safe and cool environment to parents and children throughout the summer.  Teens will participate in workshops on topics such as positive parenting, health and fitness, and child development.  They'll also participate in enrichment activities, such as arts and crafts and field trips.  Teen Parents can earn "baby buck" to purchase everything from diapers and wipes to clothing and household supplies.

An End of Summer Trip will be held on August 12.  Attendees will receive back to school bags and supplies.
