After-School Programs

Our goal at the Pittsburgh Public schools is to prepare all students to continue their education after graduation and to be eligible for a scholarship from The Pittsburgh Promise®.  Our District after-school programs are designed to leverage out-of-school time to build a coordinated and strategic network in order for students to become graduation ready, promise-ready, and college and career ready.

We are working hard to help students develop the skills and interests they will need to pursue their dreams and to offer extra support when they meet challenges along the way. If your child is experiencing difficulties and would like extra help, you should contact your child's teacher and/or guidance counselor first to discuss the best options.

You can also find an after-school program through our approved community partners or by visiting the Discover PPS portal and clicking on the "Community" tab for your school.

For more information on our After-School initiatives, please contact Tylor Hart, Program Assistant for Out-of-School Time Partnerships, Data, and Evaluation, at or 412-529-3537.
